Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and singer. A lot of people recognize her from her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is a musician first and foremost. Since she was 9 years older, she started exploring music. When she was 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough, that she started professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. There hasn't been a turning to the past since. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. Although she was raised speaking solely English and never lived in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic culture. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs and taking classes in the language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she has recorded, can be a perfect example. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia received the X Factor's four "yeses" by the judges at the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube entry. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood week" she was paired with three other female vocalists in a trio for the remaining auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live shows.
