Lita Rossana Ford popularly known as Lita Ford is a British-born American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist in the all-girl hard rock group The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics made them popular within the world of rock. The group was not able to achieve major success on the scene in The United States but earned huge popular internationally, especially in Japan. After the band split in 1979, Ford started a lucrative solo career in heavy metal. She took voice lessons and recorded her first solo album , 'Out For Blood' and 'Dancin' On the Edge.
