Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has received Emmy Awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It will air for another 27 years. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy papers. Though she initially found it fascinating, eventually she stopped her interest. Then she bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. After more than 18 years of making her shop a massive success she sold it, and then began writing her first book. Others followed, and so did magazine columns. Another hit came from the Food Network Television show. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor worked at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her unpretentious way of entertaining and easy cooking. She is known for her easy recipes like Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
